Elon Musk to visit Ghana to Propose better deal on the mining of discovered Lithium

 The world’s richest man,  Elon Musk is expected to visit Ghana to offer a better contract (estimated $150Bn/year) to the government for the mining of the newly discovered lithium located at Mfantseman in the Central Region... 

The Tesla and Space X CEO will be undertaking this business trip as a response to the government of Ghana’s decision to lease the mining rights to the Lithium to an Australian government for 15 years and to make a 13% within the term.


Initial projections indicate that Ghana could be a trillion-dollar economy in 15 years if the government injected close to $200 million into the mining of lithium instead of giving it out. 


As a manufacturer of the world’s most extensively electric vehicles, Elon Musk has given it a viable business chance to be at the forefront of the mining of Ghana’s lithium for the next 15 years and to present a contract to the government of Ghana.


Per the current pact, the government of Ghana has with the Australian company Barari DV, Ghana will only make $6 billion over the next 15 years, while they could be turning their economy around with the disbursement if we mine it ourselves or go in for a better deal.




THE IMPORTANCE AND USES OF LITHIUM


Lithium is a fascinating element with significant importance across various fields. Its unique properties make it crucial in batteries, especially for electric vehicles and portable electronics, due to its high energy density and lightweight nature.


Beyond batteries, lithium compounds are utilized in psychiatric medications to manage bipolar disorder, showcasing its importance in healthcare. Additionally, it's employed in industrial applications like ceramics and grease manufacturing.


The expanding demand for lithium highlights its pivotal role in shaping our technological and medical landscapes.


I believe the Ghana Government needs to wait patiently for this captivating deal of Elon Musk because it could rapidly change the economic situation in a few years to come rather than giving it out to the Australians if there is no conspiracy binding it.

22 kilometers Works to commence on Deplorable Adenta - Dodowa Road

Reconstruction and expansion of the Accra-Tema Motorway into a 10-lane span gets underway

The reconstruction and expansion of the Accra-Tema Motorway started on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 The 19.5-kilometre project is a 10-lane span from the Tetteh Quarshie roundabout to the Tema roundabout and the project was awarded to Maripoma Enterprise Limited, a Ghanaian-owned construction company.  Minister of Roads and Highway Honorable Amoako-Atta announced that the Accra-Tema Motorway project was the first phase of the expansion project. The second project is from Tetteh Quarshie to Apenkwa while the third phase spans from Apenkwa to Neoplan. He assured Ghanaians that work on the project would be executed with speed and urged institutions that had erected billboards on the road to remove them as soon as possible. The Minister said the country would witness road evolution in 2024, characterized by the commissioning of completed projects.
