Failatu Abdul Razak has kicked off an attempt to break the Cook-A-Thon Guinness World Record for 120hrs at Tamale.

Ghanaian renowned chef Failatu Abdul-Razak has vowed to embark on a daring mission to break the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.

The event is taking place at Modern City Hotel in Tamale, where Cheif Faila is set to put forth her culinary enthusiasm until January 5th.

With an Official record holder now held by Alan Fisher, Failatu faces stiff competition, as reports suggest that Ugandan chef Mama D has unofficially outperformed the existing norm.

Abdul Failatu has captured the challenge and she is determined to not only close off the official record but also surpass any unofficial declarations made by her competitors.

During an interview leading up to the marathon, Failatu Abdul-Razak articulated her appreciation for the unwavering support received from Ghanaians.

“I believe in the power of our collective support. Ghanaians have always been known for their unity, and I am confident that with your inducement, we can make history together,” She said.

The cooking marathon promises to be a glamorous journey, filled with aromatic spices, mouthwatering dishes, and, certainly, a few astonishments as the journey proceeds.

The kitchen itself is a phenomenon, decorated with canned foods, a display of spices, and an impressive assortment of silverware. The transparent glass kitchen, strategically installed at the forecourt of the Modern City Hotel, provides observers with a front-row seat to glimpse the culinary marathon.

As I stated earlier this marathon is full of joy and putting Ghana on the map, so she needs our support.
