According to him, the NDC has shown no clear strategy, roadmap, or practical interventions that demonstrate their capacity to address unemployment in the country. He argues that despite the high expectations placed on the party ahead of the 2024 elections, their public engagements and policy signals have failed to inspire confidence.
Ofosu-Nkansah maintains that job creation is not achieved through rhetoric but through deliberate, well-structured programmes with measurable outcomes — something he believes the NDC has not presented. He contrasted this with initiatives rolled out under his tenure at NEIP, noting that targeted entrepreneurship support, youth-skilling programmes, and private-sector partnerships are essential to solving Ghana’s unemployment challenge.
He concluded that until the NDC presents a concrete, believable plan, he stands by his assessment: a failing grade in job creation prospects.
