• Prophet Roja Claims Kennedy Agyapong Will Lead NPP in 2028 and Warns Bawumia’s Camp Not to Ignore Prophecy
• Bawumia Allies Told Not to Joke With Prophecy as Prophet Roja Insists Kennedy Will Front NPP in 2028
• Despite Primary Defeat, Prophet Roja Maintains Kennedy Agyapong Is Destined to Lead NPP into 2028 Elections
Prophet Roja has stirred fresh political debate after declaring that an earlier prophecy by Prophet El Bernard about Kennedy Agyapong leading the New Patriotic Party into the 2028 general elections is still “hanging” despite events not unfolding exactly as predicted during the party’s internal primaries.
According to Prophet Roja, although Kennedy Agyapong did not secure victory in the NPP’s presidential primaries, that outcome does not invalidate the spiritual direction that was revealed. He suggested that prophecy is sometimes subject to timing and unfolding circumstances, implying that the political journey toward 2028 may yet take unexpected turns.
He cautioned individuals within Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s inner circle not to dismiss the prophecy lightly. In his view, political actors often underestimate spiritual warnings, only to revisit them when events begin to align with earlier declarations. Prophet Roja maintained that Kennedy Agyapong will ultimately lead the NPP into the 2028 general elections, signaling what could become a significant shift within the party’s internal power dynamics.
The comments come at a time when the NPP is navigating its post-primary landscape and recalibrating its strategy ahead of the next electoral cycle. With Dr. Bawumia currently positioned as the party’s flagbearer, any suggestion of a possible leadership realignment is bound to intensify speculation and internal political discourse.
Political analysts argue that while prophecies frequently influence public conversation in Ghana’s political environment, actual leadership transitions within major parties are typically driven by constitutional processes, electoral performance, and internal consensus-building. Nevertheless, statements such as these often resonate with grassroots supporters and can subtly shape narratives within party ranks.
As the 2028 elections remain several years away, it remains to be seen whether Prophet Roja’s assertion will materialize as a political reality or remain part of Ghana’s long-standing intersection between faith and politics.
