Kennedy Agyapong: “You Don’t Need a Certificate to Succeed — What You Need Is Skill, Hard Work and Opportunity”

Presidential aspirant Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has once again emphasized the importance of skills and hard work over academic certificates, assuring Ghanaians that under his leadership, both the educated and uneducated will have fair opportunities to work and succeed.

Speaking at a recent community engagement, Ken Agyapong criticized the hypocrisy of politicians who demand certificates for jobs they control but turn a blind eye when it comes to political campaigns.

> “You don’t need a certificate to pack plastic bottles in a factory. But when you go to seek such jobs through politicians, they ask for certificates. Yet when they need you to campaign for them, they don’t ask for any certificate,” he stated.

He urged Ghanaians not to fall for such tricks anymore, promising that if elected, his administration will create equal job opportunities for everyone regardless of academic background.

> “Those with certificates will have opportunities and those without certificates will also have theirs, because you don’t need a certificate to earn a living. What you need is skill, hard work, and opportunity,” he said.

Ken Agyapong stressed that Ghana’s story is not over, adding that the country needs a business-minded leader who can turn potential into progress and effort into employment.

> “Under my leadership, every hardworking Ghanaian — whether educated or not — will have the chance to work and succeed,” he added.

The outspoken MP and businessman, who is contesting on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), continues to champion policies centered on job creation, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment.
