Meet “The Second Okomfour Anokye”? — Young Ghanaian Man Performs Mysterious Magic Feats on TikTok

A young Ghanaian man identified as Kwaku Abeiku, popularly known as Okaserew, has gone viral on TikTok after videos surfaced of him performing unbelievable “juju” or magical acts that have left many Ghanaians in awe.

In several clips circulating online, Okaserew can be seen performing jaw-dropping acts such as throwing a sewing bucket and cooking pot into the sky without them falling back down, and even cooking on top of plantain trees — feats that many describe as “supernatural.”

Born and raised in Gomoa Obuasi in the Central Region, Kwaku completed his Junior High School education but could not continue due to financial challenges. In search of greener pastures, he later moved to Tarkwa Nsuawem to make a living.

Speaking about his strange powers, the young man explained that it all began after a mysterious dream.

> “I dreamt of someone whose face I couldn’t see — only his shadow. He told me to carry intense fire on my head, and I obeyed,” he said.

The next day, inspired by the dream, he and his friends went to a farm, where he decided to test what he saw in the dream — and to his surprise, he was able to carry fire without feeling any pain or heat.

Okaserew revealed that he had always wanted to be a musician, but perhaps destiny had other plans.

> “Maybe God wanted me to do this magic performance to make a name and benefit from it because I’ve been lonely and crying since my father passed away,” he shared emotionally.

Despite the mystical nature of his acts, he insists that his powers do not come from any gods or spiritual sources.

> “My ability to perform magic isn’t from any god or anyone — it’s by the grace of God,” he emphasized.

Many on social media have nicknamed him “The Second Okomfour Anokye,” comparing him to the legendary Ashanti priest known for his powerful miracles centuries ago. Whether divine or mysterious, Okaserew’s story continues to fascinate and spark debate across Ghanaian social media.
