Sam George Announces Free 12-Month Access to Google Gemini for Ghanaian Students

Ghanaian students are set to enjoy a major technological boost as part of a new partnership between Google and Ghana’s Ministry of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations.

Member of Parliament Sam Dzata George has announced that from now until December 9, 2025, Ghanaian students can sign up to use the Gemini App Pro completely free for 12 months, including 2TB of cloud storage. The offer also comes with free AI certification training, giving students valuable skills in one of the world’s fastest-growing fields.

According to Sam George, the initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to place cutting-edge tools in the hands of Ghana’s next generation of innovators, leaders, and problem solvers. He expressed gratitude to Google for their continued collaboration with Ghana, highlighting existing partnerships such as the AI Research Lab and the One Million Coders Programme.

He encouraged students and parents to take full advantage of the opportunity, as it not only empowers learners but also reduces financial burdens associated with accessing premium digital tools.
