Rev. Obinim Claims to See Vision of Ex-President Kufuor Vanishing into Dark Clouds

Founder and Leader of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim, has sparked public discussion after claiming he saw a spiritual vision involving former President John Agyekum Kufuor.

According to the controversial cleric, the vision occurred during a recent spiritual encounter, where he allegedly saw ex-President Kufuor waving his hands in what appeared to be a farewell gesture to him and several other people before suddenly disappearing into dark clouds.

Rev. Obinim disclosed the revelation during a church service, explaining that the vision was symbolic and carried a deeper spiritual meaning rather than a literal interpretation. He did not explicitly state whether the vision was linked to death, illness, or any immediate danger, but suggested it was a divine message that required prayer and spiritual alertness.

“I saw Prez Kufuor waving bye-bye to me and some people, and suddenly he vanished into dark clouds,” the preacher told his congregation, urging Ghanaians to take spiritual matters seriously and commit leaders and the nation into prayer.

The revelation has since generated mixed reactions across social media and religious circles. While some followers of Rev. Obinim believe the vision is a prophetic warning that should not be ignored, others have cautioned against drawing conclusions, especially concerning the wellbeing of a respected former head of state.

As of now, there has been no official response from former President Kufuor or his representatives regarding the claims.

Ghana has a long history of prophetic declarations by religious leaders, particularly during periods of political transition or national uncertainty. Such revelations often stir debate about the role of prophecy in public discourse and national leadership.

Observers continue to urge calm and responsible commentary, emphasizing respect for national figures and the importance of avoiding panic or misinformation.
