The ongoing atrocities, genocide, and humanitarian crises in Sudan have no place in the 21st century.

President John Dramani Mahama has strongly condemned the escalating conflict in Sudan, describing the ongoing atrocities, acts of genocide, and immense humanitarian suffering as “unacceptable in the 21st century.”

Mahama expressed deep concern over the deteriorating situation, urging African leaders and the international community to intensify efforts toward an immediate ceasefire and sustainable peace.

He emphasized that no political or ethnic grievance justifies the mass killings and displacement of innocent civilians, calling for justice and humanitarian support for victims of the conflict.

The crisis in Sudan continues to draw global outrage, with millions displaced and severe shortages of food, water, and medical aid reported across the country.
